Ceres Skatepark

* Outdoor: 'Crete
* Free
* Trannie / Street
* Rating: Cer-ious Street

Sometime in 2002, skate fools started making some noise about the "great" Ceres skatepark.

Tis' true. You got some rails, loads of ledges, and rails for everyone. The street stuff is boutiful, and hella aggressive, but that's the easy part of building a skatepark - right, fellas.

The trannie - however - is weaker than toilet paper. And what's with the flat, empty space? You could land a hot jumbo jet in this park and no one would blink - doh! And that "bowl"... In 2002? They thought a u-bowl with flat walls would be a winner? Lame duck, boys. Shoot her, she sucks! Trannie dawgs with the sack to know better, should back-track to Ripon. That park's almost a "senior citizen" at this point, but it'll still kick the piss outta this spot. Quality never goes outta style - word up to that.

Directions: Ceres is located off the 99, just south of Modesto. We took the Ceres exit and it dropped us of on the east side of the highway, on a service road called El Camino. We took that northwest [along the freeway] to Whitmore and made a right [east]. About 2 or 3 blocks later, we made a left [north] on Moffit. As you head north on Moffit, you should see a big grassy park before you hit Fowler. The skatepark is kind of hidden in the middle of all that grass.

flat, boring, empty space! Lots of it!!!
Like a parking lot, only different...
in some way. Maybe. Pushing rules!

^ The bowl is built
for preschoolers, but
the street drops will
knock your teeth out

^ SHITEO: Alex
Walker, all frontside on
this rail

^ Here's the big set

^ Chain ollies will kick your
ass, but they'll give you that
extra bit of bravado to take your
frontside flip from *bonk* to *booyah*!
