Chino Skatepark

* Outdoor: 'Crete
* Free
* Trannie / Street
* Rating: "Bitch'n!"

Big noise these days about the Chino skatepark. We've seen it, we skated, it rocks!

Credited to AZ's Site Design Group [480.894.6797], this park kills it. At about 28,000 sq ft it's got plenty of everything, but the trannie is especially good. The bowls are cooler and gnarlier than their work in Fresno. As a matter of fact, this park challenges Fontana for "best park in the area."

"Guys, you may have already heard of the Chino Skatepark, but its not on your list. It just opened a month ago... really bitch'n lay out. Hope to see your review of this cool park."

- JT Shepherd: Dec' 03

Directions: Chino [as in "the prison!"] is east of LA in San Bernardino county, not too far off the 10 freeway. From the 10, take the 71 freeway south and exit at Grand or Edison heading east [once you're heading east, you'll be on Edison]. You'll cross Pipeline and Ramona on your way to Central. At Central and Edison you'll find Ruben Ayala Park. You can see the skatepark from the street.

Let's see, we can add this one to the
new one at NY's Saratoga Springs,
then there's Donald in OR, a serious
pool in Nashua NH, and another good
one in W. Anaheim. Good, and good for you!

^ Lots to do in Chino...
