Ojai Skatepark

* Outdoor: Asphalt / Skatelite
* Free
* Trannie / Street
* Rating: AKA "The Chris Adams Skatepark"

Welcome to lovely Ojai. This tiny little town is located back in the foothills between Ventura and Santa Barbara. The road to get there is a little on the curvy side, it gets much hotter there than Ventura or SB, but it's a cool park... you should check it out.

About Chris Adams: Okay, the park isn't really called "Chris Adams Skatepark," but on the day we rode there [as the pics below will surely indicate] Chris owned that place. He has been working on picking up a couple new sponsors, so if you're looking to sign some raw Ojai talent we'd be glad to give you his email address for our usual finder's fee of $837... just kidding Chris [we'll kick down your email for nothing].

If you're traveling to Ojai, and you want to make a day of it, you should check out some other 805 parks. In addition to Ventura's Skatestreet and Santa Barbara's Skater's Point parks, we could also suggest Carpinteria and Ventura's Hobart Park for a little "less traveled" skate scene. A little further south Camarillo goes off w/ the concrete action. 805 has it going on, so check it out!

Directions: From the 101 take Highway 150 or 33 toward Ojai from SB/LA respectively. The 150 merges with the 33 about 20 miles off the 101, just before entering Ojai. As you head into Ojai the 33 will become Ojai Ave. Enter downtown Ojai, drive about a block past Montgomery Street and the park will be on the left. If you hit Fulton Street then you have gone to far.
