"The skatepark in Oxnard will be finished in May 2004. The plans have changed from the original design you have on the SKATEparkLIST. It will now have a 9 ft combi bowl!!!"

- Danny: Feb '04

"Oxnard in under construction right now, should be done within two months... the design did change. The park now has two bowls - semi combi'ed together connected to a third bowl. Heights are 4 ft, 6 ft, 8 ft and 9 ft. The pools link to a street / plaza zone for a total of 15,000 sq ft."

Directions: Oxnard is between Santa Barbara and Los Angeles off the 101. From the 101, exit Rose Ave and head south toward the ocean. You'll cross Gonzales, Camino del Sol, and Wooley before making a soft left [southeast] on Pacific Coast Highway [aka Highway 1]. As you cross San Benito/Channel Island Blvd, the skatepark should be on your right [west] in College Park [might also be known as Petit Park?].

^ UPDATE: The skatepark at Oxnard
is under construction, with a new design
[Submission: Zach Wormhoudt]

^ OLD DESIGN: This park was originally
designed sometime before 2002, but the park
wasn't in place until 2004. Thankfully,
Oxnard and Wormhoudt suped up the design,
going from 5 ft deep [in this design], to
9 feet! That's a BIG improvement.
