Hope Skatepark

* Outdoor: 'Crete
* Free
* Trannie / Street
* Rating: "Wicked"

"This is the Hope skatepark [British Columbia - Canada]! Its a wicked park. The graffiti is shitty, but everything else is rad."

"If there's any BMXers who wanna ride, its always cool - all the skaters and bikers get along."

- Ryan Stewart: Jul '03

Direction: Hope is east of Vancouver, off Highway 1, in the southern part of British Columbia. Take Highway 1 to Hope. We hear the exit has a sign that says "Holiday Land" or something. You'll head north from the highway into Hope - the road is labeled "TC-1" on the map I have. Make a right [east] on Fort St. You'll go through the "avenues" [2nd, 3rd, etc.] until you get to 6th Ave. The address is 1005 6th Ave - the skatepark is behind the Rec Center. For more info, call the Rec Center at: 604.869.2304.

New Westminster, huh?

mello than White Rock, and
certainly less progressive than the

in Arizona. [Photo: Ryan Stewart]
