"I thought I would send you some pictures of our latest creation in BC's capital Victoria - check out Vicwest skatepark!"

"It is the biggest skatepark in BC to date [summer '02], and it's an addition to the original skateparks built 10 years ago in Vicwest. Smooth concrete and endless lines!!!! This is one of many more to come."

"Speaking of many more, New Line Skateparks built a bunch of other skateparks, such as Ben Lee, Brookswood, Slam City Jam, etc."

  New Line Skateparks

Directions: Victoria is an island -located west of Vancouver BC. So, first you have to get off the "mainland" onto Victoria Island. From there, find Johnson St and head west. Once you cross over the Johnson St Bridge [again, heading west], Johnson St will become Esquimalt. Continue west on Esquimalt to the interection of Bay St... that's supposed to be it!

the Vicwest skatepark
is big and delicious looking!!!
[Submission: Kyle Dion]

^ "If you are lookin' for a good park
on Vancouver Island, or even BC - come here!!!"
[Submission/Comments: Dillan Mabillard]

^ That little ledge-box is no
big deal, right? See how it
has trannie access on both ends?
That's "flow meets street" -
truly progressive skatepark design.
[Submission: Kyle Dion]

^ Funky, original, Canadian lines...
