Transcona Skatepark

* Outdoor: 'Crete
* Free
* Trannie / Street
* Rating: Skater built

"My name is Russell Bergmann. I have been skateboarding ever since I could walk. Barkman Concrete [204.667.3310] hired me to design and market skateparks. To me, that's a dream job. I get to design and skate the parks of my dreams. Check out this new concrete park in Transcona, Winnipeg Manitoba CANADA."

"The park is really tight. It has great flow and a lot of potential. This park is different than any other that I have skated, and I like it. Here is the 3D drawing of the park [see below]."

"Concrete parks have always brought the most enjoyment to me. I love the huge pop that I get when skating concrete. Always consistent and really smooth. Concrete is fluid."

- Russell Bergmann: Sep '01

Directions: Transcona is in Winnepeg. Coming up the highway 101 from the south, head toward the junction of the 101 and the 15/115. When you hit that junction, head west [left] on the 115 toward the 37. At the 37, turn right [north]. When you come to Redonda St, make a right [east] and continue on to East McMeans, where you'll make a left [north]. Continue on McMeans to the intersection w/ Kildare. The park is located 1/2 block north of Kildare on McMeans.

Transcona for NOT putting

this park... freedom!
