Longmont YMCA

* Outdoor: Metal / 'Crete
* Free
* Trannie / Street
* Rating: Fun to skate at the Y-M-C-A!!!

In what has almost become a tradition, Longmont joins several other YMCAs across the country in hosting yet another skatepark.

We owe special thanks to locals Josh Crigger, Chris McRoberts and Scott K. They contributed most of the action shots below, as well as the following comments:

"Hey, this is our local park. Open 9-dark, all metal, free, no pads, 2 1/4 ramps, 1 pyramid, a little pyramid, and a half pyramid, a sweet fun box with transfer, mid/low rail, ledge, and launch. Another box with 2 benches, and a launch that will make you fly! All the kids who go there are nice. No bikes!"

Thanks again, guys... For more skateables, check out Colorado action at Boulder, Thornton, Golden and Littleton.

Directions: From I-25 head west on route 119 [aka 3rd St] for about 8 mi. When you come to Lashley, make a right [north]. Head north for about 6 blocks to 9th and Lashley and you should be able to see the YMCA sign...
