We can't really tell you much about the fine Dunedin skatepark. It's on the "west coast" of Tampa, FL. The ramps are probably a little too far apart, but they look well built, courtesy of Big Daddy Rampkits [714.893.5621]. The action is probably rated "PG" - nothing too hardcore.

It's definitely not a "roll in - roll out" park - Florida's usual wavier/badge, fence, supervision scene is in full effect. Kind of a lot of hassles, but the ramps *do* look like fun... be sure to check that mini out.

You have at least a few other options in the area: Local rippage can be found at the SPoT, and Central skatepark [727.523.0785 - in Clearwater]. Beyond that we can confirm two parks in St. Petersberg - St. Pete Skatepark to the east, toward the inside of the bay, and Gulfport [727.893.1068] on the southern tip of the St. Pete peninsula.

Directions: Coming from Tampa, take Highway 60 west across the bay. Take a right [north] onto Belcher Road. Make a left [west] on Highway 580, and take it to Keene Road and head right [north]. Then take a left [west] onto San Cristopher Drive, followed by another left [south] onto Highland Avenue. Finally, take another left on Laura Lane and the skatepark is on the left. The address is 550 Laura Lane. For more info call the park direct at 727.298.3296.

^ Nice sign: "Welcome to
Dunedin - now go away!"
Awesome psychology by the parks
department. It *is* a public
facility... isn't it?

^ Best described as
wide-open and moderate
terrain... looks good.
