Maui Skatepark

* Outdoor: 'Crete / Wood
* Free ???
* Vert / Trannie / Street
* Rating: "What the hell is going on?!?"

"A long time ago I sent you my pics of the skatepark in Maui and those aren't even on the 'coming soon' bar, so what the hell is going on?"

Ha ha ha... we'd like to take a moment to thank our "ever so patient" friend Daniel Archer from Salt Lake City UT, for the rating [above], the following pics, and the concise commentary. We can tell you mean serious business. We didn't mean to keep you waiting, Sir. Ha ha.

"Hey. I have several pics of a brand new park on the shores of Maui. It's located just down the street from the Kamioli resorts.

"Just a few comments about the park: The bowl is sketchy. The roll-in section is fun and it's not made for bikes. One bit of advice, all the rollerbladers - like me - don't go there because if you see anyone who is not on 4 wheels you are lucky. The locals suck [Whoa! Good luck going back there, Dan.]. The guy bailing off his board is crazy."

- Daniel Archer: Aug '01

Directions: From the Kahului Airport take Highway 32 past Kahului Beach Road. Make a right onto Kanaloa Avenue and the skatepark is on the right.
