Chelsea Piers
* Outdoor: metal / concrete
* Pay park
* Vert + Street
* Rating: Hard to get

We didn't get to skate this park so we don't know much about it. It looks cool, but it was raining when these pics were taken so no one was out.

UPDATE: Apr'01 - Our partner "ChopSticks" sent us *another* update straight from the Big Apple:

"Yo yo yo - Chelsea Piers is new and improved. They knocked down a whole hockey rink and extended the park. When I went there everything was spaced out and they had lots of new things like handrails, funboxes, new miniramps, vert wall and more. Chelsea piers is now the best skate park in NYC."

There you have it. Much thanks again to Sticks for the kick down...

If anyone else has anything they want to share about this park, submit and we'll post!

While you're at it, check out Riverside Park. It's also in NYC and it's a lot bigger. Sweet-ass park, actually...

Directions: The City is a Grid, streets run west to east, and avenues run south to north. Get yourself to 23rd Street and go west until you run into the Hudson River, the park is at Pier 62.
