I'm not quite sure just how popular the expression is, but some people refer to the southern Oregon kill parks as the "Golden Triangle." They're talking about the Ashland \ Medford \ Talent connection. There is a fourth park in the area, and although it's not quite the banger the others are, it's still a noteworthy addition to the Oregon arsenal of 'crete creations. Take a second to check out Jacksonville... the silent *fourth* park of the Golden Triangle.

Designed/built by southern Oregon's own Airspeed Skateparks [503.791.4674], little Jacksonville is smaller and probably not quite as much fun as the other local parks... so if you're short on time, check out the others first: Ashland, Medford, and Talent. Oh yeah, there's supposed to be a good park at Grant's Pass, but no one has ever sent us pics, so that one's stuck on rumor status.

Directions: Jacksonville is about 20 miles north of the Oregon/California border. From the border, take Interstate 5 north. Exit at Fern Valley Road [exit 24] and head east to Highway 99. Make a right [north] onto the highway, and then make a left [west] onto S Stage road [Highway 238]. Follow S Stage road for about 3 miles into Jacksonville. Once in the city, make a right [north] onto Old Stage Road and a left onto Cemetery Road. The skatepark is off to the left.
