"The best skatepark I've been to so far is Lakewood Washington. The snakerun is killer. Just thought I would let you guys know. Go try it out, you will be impressed."

- John Dangelo: Oct '00

"Lakewood Washington has a kickin' concrete park that's free. I tell you, if you skate it, you'll fall in love with it, as I did. I think it is one of the better concrete parks in Washington."

- Gary C Adams: Aug '01

We hear this park comes to you from the guys that built Gig Harbor, a group that calls themselves Skate Parketecture [253.857.7890]. There you have it.

Directions: Coming from Seattle, head north on I-5 to the city of Lakewood. Pass Gravelly Lake Dr, and exit Bridgeport Way, and head north. As you travel north, you'll cross 112th, 108th, and 100th. Just after 93th, you should see the park - a little way off the street - on your right. If you hit Steilacoom, you've gone too far.
