Just east of Seattle lies yet another Washington temple of transition in a little town called Silverdale. And while the park isn't huge, it's got interesting terrain, nice flowing facilities, and about a million lines for the creative shredder.

As the pics below will indicate, it was pretty empty the day we showed up to skate. I wish we had some action shots for you, but we'll have to rely on the locals to hook up that footy...

Your other options in the area include several spots west of Seattle including Gig Harbor and Vashon Island. Back on the Seattle side of the Puget Sound, you've got *tons* of solid parks like Everett, Rain City and SeaSk8 [both in Seattle], as well as Bellevue, Kent, and North Bend further out...

Directions: Silverdale is west of Seattle across the Sound. North of Bremerton, get yourself to Highway 303 north. Exit at Silverdale Way N. and the park is two blocks north on the left in Gateway Park. The address is 11601 Silverdale Way.
